At the 19th Sheikh Bahaei National Festival of Innovation, the panel “Prospects for Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Iran and the World (Ofoq)” was held with the participation of representatives from leading Iranian knowledge-based and technology companies. The session provided a platform for showcasing innovative products and capacities, while emphasizing the importance of international collaboration for market expansion and investment attraction. The panel highlighted the diverse achievements of Iranian innovators and their readiness to engage in global partnerships.
Highlights from Company Presentations
Behyar Sanat Sepahan Mohammad Mehdi Seifi introduced the company’s advanced medical technologies, noting: “With over 740 employees and 120 products, Behyar Sanat is more than a knowledge-based company, it is a technological enterprise with industrial capabilities. Our goal was to present the linear radiotherapy accelerator to UNESCO representatives and international guests, seeking global support and investment for its development and export.”
Teb Tajhiz Paya Tahereh Sadat Ahmadi, representing Iran’s first producer of vacuum therapy devices, showcased the company’s research programs: “Through this festival, we aimed to present our achievements and establish effective connections with UNESCO member states. We seek international support to further advance our technologies.”
Big Data Pouyan Novin Mohammad Amin Nikbakht introduced AI-driven solutions using satellite imagery for agricultural product identification: “Our technology reduces costs by 70% compared to traditional methods. The festival was an opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and compete alongside other innovative companies.”
Middle East Paidar Kesht Hoosh Company (MEPCO) Mohammadreza Zaghian, International Relations Manager, presented the company’s smart irrigation technology: “By developing a web application for real-time irrigation planning, we have improved water efficiency across five provinces, covering more than 7,000 hectares. Our aim is to collaborate internationally on projects that promote food security and sustainable development.”
Zeitoon Isfahan Vaccine Innovators Company (NOZA) Dr. Hassan Neili, CEO and Deputy Director of the Virology Center at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, highlighted two breakthrough technologies: “During the COVID-19 pandemic, we developed neutralizing antibodies that saved lives. We also advanced bacteriophage technology as a novel solution to combat hospital-resistant infections. Our goal is to transfer these technologies to pharmaceutical companies and health systems both domestically and internationally.”
Toward Global Collaboration
The Ofoq panel was designed to foster cross-border technological cooperation and attract international support for the advancement of indigenous innovations. By presenting cutting-edge achievements, Iranian companies demonstrated their readiness to contribute to global scientific and technological progress.
